a photozine exploring the hostility of our built environment
I printed this zine in 2022 to document how Nashville's streets -- the way we're using them and the way they're designed -- are killing people and planet. The photo features the locations of pedestrian deaths, one of the deadliest years in Nashville's history. I took every photo while navigating through the city as a pedestrian, cyclist, or public transportation user. Printed copies were left in public places with high levels of foot traffic to get people to read the zine.
